WHAT'S HAPPENING
All About You - Disability Services is dedicated to actively encouraging inclusion for all through the provision of support activities that enrich the lives of not only participants but everyone involved.
​
One of our goals is to provide fun and dynamic activities where the whole community can come together and enjoy a new and rewarding experience.
​
We are always thinking about new ways to promote inclusion and community participation and are currently in the process of organising a number of exciting events.
​

February 2020
All About You - Disability Services now has a dedicated community access centre!
​
Collinsvale Cottage provides a central location to deliver participant programs including
Community Access and Independent Living Skills & Training.
​
Programs will be developed by participants based on their interests, with a wide variety of activities available.
​
Short-term accommodation (Respite) for adults and children is also offered at the cottage.
​

All About You - Disability Services' newest event will have the Valley rocking.....
introducing Valley Vibes!
​
This provides a place to meet new people, listen to and enjoy a wide range of music, and of course dance!
​
The event will be run once a month starting from Friday 24 May 2019 at the Trade Training Centre in Huonville.
​
For now, this will be an 18 years and over event, however we are looking to provide
something similar for younger people in the near future.

All About You - Disability Services, in conjunction with Special Olympics Australia, brings to the Huon Valley
a new and energetic event, Valley Sporters!
​
This after-school program has been developed to encourage students to get active, learn new skills and have fun
in a group environment.
​
The program will be run by Special Olympics Australia's Tasmania Sports Coordinator, Jason Schmidt
and will offer a range of different sports and activities.
​
Starting from 14 May 2019, the program will occur every Tuesday afternoon during school terms
from 4pm - 5pm at the Huon Valley PCYC.
​
Students aged between 8 - 16 years are welcome to attend.
6 March 2019
All About You - Disability Services is excited to announce our first event, Crafty Critters, developed and run by our talented staff.
​
This craft group will occur on Wednesday each fortnight, starting from 6 March 2019 at the Huonville Library.
​
There will be a variety of crafting projects offered, from jewellery making, to papier-mache and bag making.
​
Participation is available to everyone regardless of age or skill level.
​
We hope to see you there!
